Planning Permission

We understand each project is unique, with its own set of constraints. From outline permission, change of use applications, full detailed planning, we have explain differences and similarities to our clients. As such we work with our clients to determine the best planning route for their project.

Arrange a site visit/ online meet. To discuss your project (including planning process, CDM regulations, procurement routes, project brief, project timeline, design aspirations, budget and appropriate consultants.

Issue fee proposal and appointment documents.

Either conduct a measured building survey or recommend an external surveying company for more complex projects.

Create existing drawings and issue for client approval or receive existing survey from external surveyor company.

Consult with appointed consultants and implement information into initial design brief and drawings.

Issue proposed drawings according to the project brief.

Project meeting to discuss amendments/ design updates.

Issue updated drawings to consultants for comments.

Carry out final updates where necessary and issue to client for final sign off.

Once the client has signed off, submit the application to local authority.

Check application with planning officer and amend where necessary.

Review decision notice from counsel with client and subject to granted permission, move onto Building Regulations.
